Toei Shinyaku obtained two U.S. patents for methods for measuring beta-glucan, the main ingredient of Agaricus blazei (brasiliensis).

Patent number in Japan "7052967" and "6966756"

Patent number in U.S. "US 11,479,803 B2" and "US 11,542,307 B2"

 

It is useful for diagnosing fungal infections and for measuring the levels of beta-glucan in dietary supplements.

 

Toei Shinyaku established methods for measuring the levels of beta-glucan, the main ingredient of Agaricus blazei (brasiliensis), as results of joint research with Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences on our King Agaricus KA21. Following these results of our research, two patents were filed in the USA as

"US 11,479,803 B2" and "US 11,542,307 B2".  (Japanese patents already obtained as "7052967" and "6966756".)
